Trill Crime is an investigative fiction podcast from RJPC Studios LLC exploring the people, places, crimes, records, and events that Trillberry may have forgotten.
Hosted by M.J.—Maya Jones, better known around town as Dr. J—the investigation begins with a disturbing contradiction: M.J. remembers growing up in Trillberry alongside two children named Jax and Leo. Old recordings prove they existed. The town remembers none of it.
Then a collection of unidentified journals is discovered hidden inside the Trillberry library.
The deeper M.J. digs, the larger the problem becomes. Missing people. Conflicting histories. Altered memories. Strange recordings. Documents that disagree with what everyone believes happened.
This isn't about proving the paranormal.
It's about following the evidence.
Because in Trillberry, memory and history are not always the same thing.
M.J. / Maya Jones is portrayed by RJPC Studios LLC resident artist Dr. Jen Self.

  • The Periwinkle Problem | Trill Crime — Episode 2
    2026/10/02
Two memories can feel equally real without both being factually true.
M.J. discovers records for two theaters — the Piccadilly and the Periwinkle — occupying the same address, during the same years, in the same version of Trillberry.
    Then the evidence gets worse.
Two photographs appear to capture the same audience only seconds apart. In one, a chair is empty. In the other, Mrs. Periwinkle is sitting there.
The journals have only one explanation:
    BOTH.
As M.J.'s own childhood memories begin returning, the investigation moves beyond a forgotten building and toward something much more disturbing: Jax, Leo and M.J. may have been present when one version of Trillberry was deliberately “corrected.”
And Mrs. Periwinkle may be what was left behind.

  • The People Trillberry Forgot | Trill Crime — Episode 1
    2026/08/29
Nobody remembers M.J. growing up in Trillberry.
    M.J. does.
In the premiere of Trill Crime, M.J.—Maya Jones, better known around town as Dr. J—begins investigating a contradiction that has followed her for years.
She remembers growing up in Trillberry alongside two children named Jax and Leo.
    The problem?
    Nobody else remembers them.
Old recordings prove the three children were together. Then, inside the back room of the Trillberry library, M.J. discovers a collection of unidentified journals hidden behind old archival records.
Inside is a sentence that changes everything:
Town memory does not match physical record.
    And underneath it:
    Nineteen hertz.
The deeper M.J. looks, the clearer one thing becomes.
This may not be about three forgotten children.
It may be about what Trillberry itself has forgotten.
