    What can be said about PHIL SZOSTAK? To begin with, he is allegedly not Christopher Guest. Additionally, he is the Creative Art Manager at Lucasfilm, and the author of multiple art books, including The Art of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Art of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and The Art of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Phil also serves in the Lucasfilm Story Group.

    Phil has added another Art Book to his bibliography with his latest: The Art of Star Wars: ANDOR (The Complete Series), a book which we're very excited to discuss today! This new Art Of book is a TOME! For a series as rich and detailed as ANDOR, this book was going to be an absolute marvel containing to much incredible artwork! Today, we're so very privileged to talk to Phil about his career and work on this wonderful book which showcases so much incredible art from this amazing show.

    After a wedding in Idaho and a trip to Atlanta, we're finally back! To kick things off, we discuss DragonCon, one of the wildest nerd-conventions out there! Besides being notorious for it's partying, DragonCon is also infamous for it's Star Wars Trivia test. This test is usual hard (and rightfully so), but this year it was truly diabolical! We discuss this test and subject Nad to a couple of the questions.Additionally, while we were gone it was announced that both STARFIGHTER and the STAR WARS 50th Anniversary re-release will both have releases in IMAX, just like Christopher Nolan intended. STARFIGHTER is a film we're excited for and discuss the possibilities it can have to push Star Wars in exciting new directions.     It's official: AHSOKA Season 2 releases on January 20, 2026! The reveal was made at D23 (i.e. the Disney convention), and along with the release date, they also blessed us with the first trailer for the show!This was a jampacked trailer featuring, Force Ghost Anakin Skywalker, flashbacks of Anakin and Ahsoka during the Clone Wars (who is that guy wielding the teal lightsaber?!), Ezra and Zeb reunion, B-WINGS!, space battles, NIGHTSISTERS, and the bluest daddy of them all: THRAWN.It' a lot more than we were expecting and changed our plans from discussing THE NINTH JEDI.
