Navigating patient trauma is a journey in itself, but as we double down in moments when our own trauma gets triggered, we meet with massive opportunity for both ourselves and our patients!
Many consider it unprofessional to share personal experience in session. I disagree! It’s actually most valuable when a practitioner shares their personal experience, tactfully, as a teaching tool.
In this episode we will explore the capacity of trauma to fragment consciousness and create multiple isolated drivers, as well as our inherent capacity to re-unify these fragments into singularity!
We’ll look at the healing potential of the patient, as the practitioner resolves their own trauma, and in some cases even shares it. And we’ll discuss how patients can assess the practitioner, to ensure the practitioner’s capacity to support them through their healing journey.
