    ⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING
This episode contains discussions about adoption trauma, parental illness, grief, addiction, and moments of suicidal ideation. These topics may be emotionally difficult for some viewers. Listener discretion is strongly advised. If you are currently struggling, reach out to someone you trust or a mental health professional before continuing.

On today’s episode of Trauma Behind the Glamor, Rah sits down with Augusto Weber, one of the owners of The Blank Space NYC, to share a story that is as heartbreaking as it is inspiring.

Augusto was born in Peru and adopted at seven years old, brought to New York City to begin a new life with his adoptive mother. Not long after, she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. As a child and teenager, he had to navigate the confusion, responsibility, and emotional weight of watching the person he loved most slowly decline. Despite the challenges, his love for her never wavered.

In one of the most emotional moments of the interview, Augusto opens up about being asked by doctors to pull the plug as his mother lay on her deathbed. He refused. Hours later, in the early morning, he received the call that she had passed away. That moment shattered him.

What followed was a spiral into drugs, alcohol, and self destruction. Augusto speaks openly about the darkness he fell into, the numbness, and the night he found himself ready to take his own life. But instead of breaking, he chose to fight. He chose to live.

Today, Augusto is a creator, a community builder, and the owner of The Blank Space NYC. His space was born from pain, purpose, and the desire to bring people together. His story is not just about trauma. It’s about resilience, identity, and the courage it takes to rebuild when everything feels lost.

This episode is raw, emotional, and deeply human. Behind every success story is someone who had to survive something unimaginable. This is Augusto’s truth.

  • Saagar Modi on Psychosis, Healing & Spiritual Awakening

On this powerful episode of Trauma Behind the Glamor, Rah sits down with Saagar Modi, founder of Conscious Talent Management — a man whose journey through mental illness, identity, and spiritual rebirth is as raw as it is inspiring.

At just 18 years old, Saagar experienced a severe psychosis episode that shattered his sense of reality. He faced terrifying intrusive thoughts, including the fear of harming the very people he loved most. Instead of hiding this chapter, he chooses to speak openly about it — not for shock value, but to break stigma and help others understand what psychosis truly feels like from the inside.

Saagar walks us through the emotional chaos of losing control of his mind, the shame and fear that followed, and the long road of therapy, treatment, and rebuilding trust in himself. He explains the difference between intrusive thoughts and intention, and how learning that distinction saved his life.

Today, Saagar is a mental health advocate, a spiritual seeker, and the founder of Conscious Talent Management, where he connects models, actors, creators, and artists with opportunities rooted in integrity and compassion. His story is a reminder that healing is not linear — it’s a rebirth, a reconstruction, and a reclaiming of identity.

This conversation is honest, vulnerable, and deeply human.
It’s about the mind, the soul, and the courage it takes to come back from the darkest places.

This is Saagar’s truth — unfiltered, brave, and transformative.

In this emotional and unforgettable episode of Trauma Behind the Glamor, we sit down with Daniel Chacon, a man whose life changed in an instant. Daniel came to the United States and to New York City searching for opportunity, but life was far from easy. He worked hard, pushed through struggle, and tried to build a new beginning.

Then everything shifted. Just before the pandemic, on his way to a game, Daniel was struck by a car while walking on the sidewalk. He woke up in the hospital and learned he had lost his leg. His recovery was long, painful, and filled with moments where he had no one. But strangers stepped up. People he never met before became the support he needed when he had no family here.

Daniel refused to give up. In 2024 he launched his own podcast and wrote his book Volviendo a Casa. His story proves to the world that nothing can hold you back when your spirit is stronger than your circumstances. He speaks openly about the challenges, the loneliness, the fear, and the strength it took to rebuild his life from the ground up.

This episode is raw, inspiring, and a reminder that even when life hits you without warning, you can rise again. Daniel is living proof that purpose can be born from pain and that resilience can carry you through the darkest moments.
