Hi, welcome to Having Tea with Uncle Iroh. If you’re here, I’m guessing its because you know who Uncle Iroh is. If by chance you don’t know who he is, he’s a character from the series The Last Airbender and he's expertly written. He is full of wisdom, kindness, and patience yet can be fiercely protective, but most importantly he doesn’t seem to waver on his moral standing, even if it means he’s standing alone. Yet throughout the series you learn all this wisdom and compassion was hard earned and he was not always the man we get to know within the episodes. There is one thing that becomes abundantly clear though, he strives to pass on his knowledge and wisdom to everyone he meets and I like to believe it’s because he doesn’t want others to have as hard of a time learning the lessons as he did. We might not be able to travel to the city of Ba Sing Se where the girls look so pretty but we can still explore his lessons and take them to heart. So put on the kettle, make some tea, and join me as, throughout this series, we’ll explore the advice and philosophy of Uncle Iroh and how it can apply to our lives. This is going to be some heavy soul searching.
Episodes 1-7 are all re-uploads from a few years ago. The website I had used changed how everything was run, I couldn't figure out how to edit the episodes how I had been and lost everything except the raw audio of just me talking. All background music and in-between transitional audio is lost. Please bare with me as I try to figure out how to do this all over again. Hardest part is honestly no longer having the background music and transitional pieces to easily insert.
