SEASON 1 • BONUS EPISODE Behind It All The Story Behind The Total Person

This one is personal. Before Season 2 begins, I wanted to sit down and tell you where The Total Person really came from. Not the brand. Not the title. The reason behind it. The lake. The storms. The self-doubt. The pressure. The breath. If you want to understand the heart behind everything in Season 1, this is the episode to hear.

    WHAT YOU’LL HEAR
    • where the kayak, the lake, and the quiet really come from
    • why this project started from survival, not content
    • how storms in the mind shaped the message behind Season 1
    • why honesty, judging less, and letting people find their own way matter so much to me
    • why this bonus episode sets up everything that comes next

    ● Why listen: if Season 1 spoke to you, this is the episode that opens the door and shows you what was sitting behind all of it.

  • S1E12 – The Path Forward
    2026/05/28
SEASON 1 • EPISODE 12 SEASON FINALE The Path Forward Don’t chase motivation. Build a rhythm that holds. Episode Description This is where surviving the storm turns into building a life. Motivation fades. Pressure doesn’t. Most people try to push harder when life gets loud. But the real path forward isn’t about pushing. It’s about building a rhythm that can actually hold your life together. Because the storms you face don’t just show up at work. • They show up in your sleep • In your money stress • In the way pressure leaks into your relationships This season finale shifts the conversation from surviving storms… to building structure that steadies your life. • Why emotional intelligence begins with a pause • How small resets change how you show up at home • Why identity built on performance eventually cracks • How rhythm protects you when motivation disappears The real question What rhythm is your life quietly training you to live? This episode isn’t about reinventing yourself. It’s about becoming steadier. Because the goal isn’t to defeat storms. The goal is to stop letting storms decide who you become. 🟤 Round Table At the 🟤 Round Table, the conversation comes back to one idea: your life already runs on patterns. The question is whether those patterns build stability… or quietly keep you stuck in survival. Reflection • Where is pressure leaking across different parts of your life? • What small reset could change how you show up tonight? • If someone studied your weekly rhythm… what would it reveal? Press play. Then build one rhythm that holds. Small structure. Real stability. I’m Chris. This is The Total Person. I am the total person today.

  • S1E11 – Trust Systems
    2026/05/21
    SEASON 1 • EPISODE 10 Building Trust & Connection

Trust and connection sound soft until the storm shows up. Then they become everything. In real pressure — at work, at home, in leadership, in parenting — they are the difference between sinking alone and moving together.

In this episode of Total Person, we talk about what trust and connection really are. Not a vibe. Not a title. Not something you talk about once and assume is there. Trust is a pattern. Connection is a practice. And both of them get tested most when life gets tense, awkward, and inconvenient.

You’ll hear why trust grows in repetition, how connection thins when people start protecting themselves, and why inconsistency does more damage than pressure ever could. We get into leadership, family, parenting, self-trust, repair, and the small moments that quietly teach people what to expect from you.

YOU’LL LEAVE WITH A STRONGER WAY TO BUILD TRUST
    • how to see trust as a pattern people can actually count on
    • how repair, honesty, and consistency strengthen connection under pressure
    • how to lead, parent, and show up in a way that helps people move closer instead of bracing

This one gets real. Leadership. Parenting. Relationships. Self-trust. Burnout. The quiet way connection weakens when people stop feeling safe — and the steady way it gets rebuilt through clarity, follow-through, and repair.

Next episode: we move into Trust Systems — what it takes to build environments, habits, and ways of showing up that make trust stronger than mood, pressure, or chaos.

  • S1E09 – Finding Meaning Through Purpose
    2026/05/07
SEASON 1 • EPISODE 9 Finding Meaning Through Purpose

After breakdown. After burnout. There comes a harder question: what now? Where is this leading? This episode goes right at that question, because purpose does not erase storms — it gives you a reason to keep walking through them.

In this episode of Total Person, we turn to Viktor Frankl and the idea that meaning is what helps a person hold their inner life together when pressure, pain, and uncertainty start closing in. Not comfort. Not status. Not pretending life is easy. Meaning.

You’ll hear why burnout does not only drain your energy, but your why. We get into Frankl’s three paths to meaning, the difference between pressure and purpose, and the quiet truth that even when you cannot choose the storm, you can still choose the stance you take inside it.

YOU’LL LEAVE WITH A CLEARER SENSE OF PURPOSE
    • how to recognize when your life is running on pressure instead of meaning
    • how purpose can steady you when comfort is not available
    • how to choose a real stance inside suffering without letting the storm make you cold

This one goes deep. Viktor Frankl. Fatherhood. Work. Leadership. Identity. The slow way pressure can change you — and the way purpose can help you rebuild a life that feels grounded, honest, and worth carrying.

Next episode: we move into Building Trust & Connection — because meaning is not meant to stay trapped inside you. It has to show up in relationships, repair, and how you move through storms with other people.

  • S1E08 – When Leaders Burnout
    2026/04/30
SEASON 1 • EPISODE 8 When Leaders Burn Out

Burnout does not always show up like a lightning strike. A lot of the time, it looks more like a candle fighting the wind for too long — still lit, still going, but getting smaller without you fully noticing.

In this episode of Total Person, we talk about what burnout really looks like in leadership. Not weakness. Not carelessness. Not failure. A slow thinning out of patience, focus, meaning, and presence while you still keep showing up and handling what needs handling.

You’ll hear why burnout is more than being tired, how functioning can hide fading, and how leaders often rename warning signs until they start feeling normal. We get into the pressure of always being the reliable one, the cost of living in push-through mode, and the hard truth that burnout can keep you moving while you quietly hollow out.

YOU’LL LEAVE WITH A CLEARER WARNING LIGHT
    • how to spot the early signs that you are still functioning but fading
    • how to tell the difference between commitment and self-abandonment
    • how to stop renaming warning signs before your body forces a stop

This one gets real. Leadership pressure. Identity. Survival mode. The stories people run while they work. And the moment you realize the outside version of you still looks steady while the inside version is running out of fuel.

Next episode: Viktor Frankl takes center stage as we ask a deeper question — what gives you the strength to keep going when life does not get easier?

  • S1E07 – When Leaders Break
    2026/04/23
SEASON 1 • EPISODE 7 When Leaders Break (and How They Rebuild)

The Total Person — Episode 7

Leadership in the storm gets real in a place people don’t love talking about: when leaders crack.

You know that moment. You finish a long day and sit in the car a second longer than you need to — not because you’re lazy, but because you’re trying to collect yourself before you walk back into your life. Your phone is still lighting up. Your mind is still running. Your body never fully came down. And you think, “I’m supposed to be the steady one.”

In this episode, I talk about what it actually looks like when leaders break — not always in one loud collapse, but in a slow bend. It leaks out through your tone, your patience, your sleep, your chest tightening when the next problem lands. You can still perform, still show up, still get it done… while quietly falling apart inside.

    THE REAL CAUSE

Leaders don’t break because they care — they break because they carry too much alone for too long. And if you lead at work and then lead at home, the weight doubles. Parenting counts. Home counts. The kitchen and bedtime moments count just as much as the office.

    🟤 ROUND TABLE

Stop treating breaking like a personal failure. Most of the time it’s load without support. Rebuilding doesn’t happen through tougher masks or tighter control. It happens through honesty, boundaries, and letting support back in — before you hit the edge.

    IN THIS EPISODE
    • What leadership breaking looks like in real life (irritation, avoidance, control, resentment, guilt)
    • Why “being the strong one” can turn into a trap
    • How pressure leaks into parenting and relationships
    • Why control keeps you functional but cuts you off from recovery
    • The rebuild: support, honesty, and a load that matches real life
    REFLECTION QUESTIONS
    • Where are you carrying too much alone?
    • Who’s still close enough to tell you the truth about how you’re doing?
    • What weight are you ready to stop carrying by yourself?

Stay in. Stay alive. Stay awake.

  • S1E06 – Leadership in the Storm
    2026/04/16
SEASON 1 • EPISODE 6 Leadership in the Storm

Storms don’t only live inside you. They live in society too. The news, the scrolling, the pressure, the comparison, the nonstop noise — it all has a way of getting in and shaping how you think, speak, lead, and carry yourself.

In this episode of Total Person, we talk about what happens when the storm outside gets inside. Not as an abstract idea, but as something real you feel in your chest, your patience, your focus, and your tone. Because you can look fine on paper and still feel like you’re carrying more than you were built to hold.

You’ll hear what outside noise does to leadership, why overload gets mistaken for strength, and how real steadiness is not about absorbing every wave. It’s about learning what is yours to carry, what is not, and how to hold the lantern without becoming the sponge.

YOU’LL LEAVE WITH A STEADIER WAY TO LEAD
    • how to spot when outside noise is running your inner life
    • how to stop carrying storms that do not belong to you
    • how to lead with presence, clarity, and steadiness in a loud society

This one gets personal. Work pressure. Social overload. Parenting. Leadership. The slow way outside chaos can wear you down and make you mistake reaction for strength.

Next episode: we go into what happens when leaders break — not the image of strength, but the real cost of carrying too much for too long, and how rebuilding begins.

Stay in. Stay alive. Stay awake.
