We live in a world obsessed with outcomes—more money, more success, more recognition. Yet this week's sicha challenges us to shift our focus from the reward to the responsibility. Why does the Torah say "today to do them," and what is the Rebbe teaching us about living with purpose? In this episode, we'll explore how focusing on today's actions, rather than tomorrow's results, can transform our businesses, our relationships, and our Jewish lives.

On Shabbos Chazon, every Jew is shown a vision of the Third Beis HaMikdash. If we do not consciously see it, what is the purpose of the vision? In this class, we will explore the Rebbe’s explanation of how this vision helps us reshape our habits and nature, so that our lives become more aligned with the meaning and purpose of the Third Beis HaMikdash.

In this sicha, the Rebbe takes a small detail in the story of Gad, Reuven, and Menashe, and shows how much depth is hidden there. Gad and Reuven wanted land outside the main borders of Eretz Yisrael because it worked for them. Menashe was different. They did not ask for that land; Moshe placed them there because they had the ability to carry the love of the Land beyond its borders. The message for us in galus. There is one kind of love that needs to stay close in order to feel connected. But there is a deeper love that becomes part of who you are — so much so that even when you are outside, you do not forget where you belong, and you bring that holiness with you wherever you are.

But what is the difference between a miracle and a wonder? A miracle is when we fight our nature and break through in one powerful moment. The Red Heifer is one of the deepest mysteries in Torah, but at its core is a powerful message: impurity and death come from disconnection from Hashem, the true source of life. In this sicha, we explain why Moshe had to be the one to begin the mitzvah of the Red Heifer, why its power continues until Moshiach, and how it repairs the spiritual damage of the Golden Calf. The Red Heifer teaches us how to break through the blockage of materialism and reconnect to life, truth, and Hashem with Moshe’s higher perspective.

Their mistake was that Moshe sent them on a clear mission, and they started adding their own calculations. Instead of just seeing the land and reporting back, they began thinking like strategists, and that small shift pulled them away from Moshe’s truth. The lesson is simple but powerful: in Yiddishkeit, relationships, and business, we can mean well and still go off track when we start bending the truth or rewriting the mission. When we stay connected to the one who sent us, we have the strength not to fall.

Food, wine, comfort, celebration, and physical enjoyment are not separate from Hashem. When connected to Torah and mitzvos, they become part of the joy itself — a blended, whole Jewish experience of happiness.
