  • Obsession + Mother Mary & The Odyssey through an Odyssey | Ep.08
    2026/05/30

This week, on Tonight's first feature, we dive into TWO MOVIES! That's right, folks, we are double featuring Mother Mary 2026 (dir. David Lowery) & Obsession 2026 (dir. Curry Barker).

David Lowery is an American filmmaker known for his independent features, such as A Ghost Story and The Green Knight, as well as his mainstream large-budget studio films, including Pete's Dragon. He is back with Mother Mary starring Anne Hathaway & Michaela Coel.

Obsession is Curry Barker's first theatrical feature released worldwide to immediate financial and critical success. Barker alongside his creative partner Cooper Tomlinson whom he met in film school began his career in sketch comedy posting videos on their youtube channel “Thats a bad idea”. His horror short “The Chair” got the attention of “47 meters down” producer James Harris who approached Barker to finance a script, out of all his ideas, Obsession stood out to him.

    2026/05/24

On this week’s Tonight's Second Feature James & Rhys dive into season 1 with Silent Spectaculars. Up first we silently watch The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari 1920. Considered the first German expressionist film, its striking visual style, and physiological narrative is still felt throughout modern horror.

Rhys will take us on our first stage of the journey towards the release of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. First we talk the book and learn what the odyssey is.

  • John Carpenters The Fog (1980) Last episode of Season 0 | Ep.05
    2026/05/16

On this week of Tonight's Second Feature James & Rhys explore John Carpenters The Fog.

The Fog, released in 1980, was writer and director John Carpenter's third entry into the horror genre. Alongside perhaps his most important collaborator, Deborah Hill, the pair co-wrote and produced a film harking back to ghost stories of old.

On the eve of celebrating its Centennial, strange poltergeist activities disrupt the small coastal town of Antonio Bay. Not long after, a mysterious fog bank rolls in, bringing with it the revengeful ghost of the Elizabeth Dane.

On our last episode of Season 0 we get warmed up with one last entry of James' personal favourites. But beware…the fog may come for you!
