In this episode, we sit down with Deborah, who grew up in rural California and now lives in a South Dakota town where Bigfoot sightings are regularly reported.

Deborah recounts a terrifying night at her family’s remote cabin near Lake Tahoe in the 1960s. During a snowy winter night, something prowled outside and violently thrashed against the cabin, tormenting the family for hours. By morning, mysterious scratches and claw marks had been left behind—marks unlike those of any known big cat, bear, or other native animal. This disturbing evidence convinced the family that the elusive Sasquatch may have been responsible.

She also takes us inside her unusual childhood growing up in a military family. Deborah believes her father worked on highly classified technology—work that appeared to leave him deeply paranoid. For years, she assumed his behaviour was unique to him, until she recently met someone whose father had worked alongside him and displayed many of the same troubling tendencies. Deborah also reveals her family’s extraordinary military history, including her great grandfather, General Karl Wolff who worked closely with Adolf Hitler.

Finally, Deborah shares stories from one of the strangest periods of her life: working in an intensely haunted thrift store. Paranormal activity was an almost daily occurrence for Deborah and her coworkers, ranging from unexplained disturbances and ghostly apparitions to direct communication with unseen entities. It was a workplace that seemed as though it had been lifted straight from a Stephen King novel.
