  • In the Trenches Together: God’s Faithfulness in Deep Loss
    2026/05/26

Welcome To the Table. Join me as we welcome my friend, Morgan Ring, to the podcast. This is one of those conversations that stays with you long after it’s over—at least, that was my experience sitting across from her.

Morgan is our very first guest in our summer series, where we are choosing to look straight at the hard things and the heavy seasons. As she says in the episode, we are truly here to learn from one another and give people a safe space to simply share their story. Let’s get into it – grab a seat and join us for this week’s episode.

A gentle note: We talk deeply about grief and loss in this episode. If you are currently walking through a tender season of loss, please protect your heart and listen only if and when it feels right for you.

Romans 8:27-28 - And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

  • In the Trenches Together: God’s Faithfulness in Hard Seasons
    2026/05/19

Welcome To the Table. This summer, we are entering into a special series where we’re getting incredibly honest about the hard seasons of life. We’re sitting down with friends who have walked through the deepest valleys and seen the undeniable faithfulness of God—not just through his presence, but through the hands and feet of the community that refused to let them walk alone. I am more than delighted to welcome my mom, Diane Holloway, to the podcast to kick off this new season with me. My prayer is that wherever you find yourself today, you’ll leave here feeling encouraged to keep going, keep showing up, and keep seeing the Lord’s faithfulness as you walk through whatever season you’re in today.

Matthew 14:22-33 - ...And Peter answered him, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.” He said, “Come.” So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, “Lord, save me.” Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

Luke 10:38-42 - Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”

Philippians 4:7-8 - And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Joshua 1:9 - Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

  • How can we show up to help everyone find a place in community?
    2026/05/12

Welcome To the Table. Our guest today, Dana Dorris, joins us to talk about something we don’t always stop to consider: what it means to truly feel part of a community when communication barriers exist. Dana shares her experiences with the deaf community and reflects on how those barriers can make connection and belonging more challenging.

In our conversation, she tells us how she became involved in deaf ministry, what that work looks like today, and how it creates a meaningful seat at the table for those the ministry serves. There’s so much heart in this discussion, so grab a seat and join us.

Matthew 7: 3-5 - Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

  • How can you show up authentically in non-faith spaces?
    2026/04/28

Welcome To the Table. Are you ever in a space or community that isn’t faith-centered? Maybe you work in a place where faith isn’t mentioned often? Or you sit in the bleachers surrounded by people who may or may not believe in Jesus? In this episode, we’re talking about what it looks like to show up authentically, in all spaces, and love the people around you. This feels like a common theme, but we’re talking about so many other things today too, so grab a seat and join us for this week’s conversation ☕

  • What does it look like to foster new community?
    2026/04/21

Welcome To the Table. Anyone find themselves in a new community lately? Maybe you’ve started a new job, moved to a new school, or joined a new team. Maybe you’ve just started going to a new Bible study, joined toddler time at the library, or reconnecting with a group of friends from a past season. There’s a lot of opportunities to foster new community. My guest this week, Jess Clemons, is here to talk about what that looks like to start a new community and encourage other women who may be in a similar season. As always, we’re not just talking about community. We’re chatting about busy-ness, prayer, time with God, relationships, spiritual warfare, etc. So, let’s get into it. Grab a seat and join us for this week’s conversation ☕

  • How to find community when it’s outside your comfort zone?
    2026/04/14

Welcome To the Table. Just based on the title, you probably already feel that familiar uncomfortable feeling of stepping outside of your comfort zone. I’m so grateful that my friend, Katie Racki, agreed to sit down and talk about how hard it can be to seek out new community when your personality tends to be a little more reserved. Regardless of your personality, it can be hard to step out of your comfort zone and into something new. But, He always gives us strength for the hard things and grace when we don’t quite know what to do or how to do it. Grab a seat and join us as we dive into today’s conversation ☕

Matthew 11:28-29 – Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Joshua 1:9 – Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

  • Why is community so important?
    2026/04/07

Welcome To the Table. We are heading into a new series today – we're talking about why we need community. I know, we talk about this ALL the time here, but we’re going somewhere, I promise. I am sitting down with my sister to talk about what community looks like for us, how they support us (and we show up for them), and why it’s important to live life with others.
