このコンテンツについて
My distinguished guest today is Tim Estes. I had very good reasons to invite him on the show. Tim envisioned a new way computers could learn to understand language. In 2000, while he was still a student at University of Virginia he founded Digital Reasoning Systems, one of the first AI companies.
Tim is one of Nashville's early tech pioneers. He is a leading influencer, advocate and public speaker on the use of technology and analytics to achieve social good in financial services, government, healthcare and academia. He also cares intensely about protecting digital privacy, something I am equally interested in.
To summarize, Tim is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where he studied philosophy of language and mathematics. In 2000, he co-founded Digital Reasoning Systems. He became the company’s chairman and CEO. 21 years later, Tim departed Digital Reasoning Systems having sold the company. Digital Reasoning Systems is one of the region's most prominent tech companies and also was named Forbes’ top 50 fintech companies of 2019.
