Tim Conway Jr. brings his signature humor to breaking news, Los Angeles current events, Orange County stories, Riverside County headlines, the Inland Empire, live police chases, freeway traffic, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, the big sports stories of the day, politics, gambling, and everything happening across Southern California. With his finger on the pulse of what’s happening in SoCal and beyond, Conway delivers funny, fast-moving talk radio every weeknight on KFI AM 640.

Heard by listeners across the country and around the world on the iHeartRadio App, Conway’s humor, storytelling, and take on the current news of the day connect with audiences far beyond Southern California. His perspective is local, but his comedy, curiosity, and down-to-earth view of life translate across cultures, communities, and languages.

Tim Conway Jr. was born and raised in Los Angeles and is the son of iconic comedy legend Tim Conway of The Carol Burnett Show. He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, four younger brothers, and older sister — experiences that helped shape his humor, storytelling, and down-to-earth perspective on life.

During his early career, Conway produced his own internet radio show and, thanks to its popularity, was offered the opportunity to host a talk show on 97.1 KLSX-FM. Over twelve successful years, his show became famous across Southern California for entertaining topics, live police chases, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, sports, and current events with a twist of humor. In 2009, when KLSX switched to an all-music format, Conway joined KFI AM 640, continuing to bring listeners his unique comedic perspective on breaking news, politics, gambling, history, sports, entertainment, and life in SoCal.

Throughout his career, Conway has been featured on Fox 11, CBS, NBC, and ABC, and has received numerous industry honors including a Golden Mic Award, an Edward R. Murrow Award, and a Marconi Award nomination for Personality of the Year. When he’s not entertaining listeners, Conway enjoys spending time with his family, supporting local charities, and hanging out at the racetracks.

  • The Ding-Dongs of Hazzard Starring General Tim Conway Jr

The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour 1 (7.15)

The Pointe Fire has burned nearly 50 acres up near Santa Clarita, but we’re not too worried — that area is firefighter country, with many of them living right there and battling hard to protect their own neighborhoods. Timmy warns listeners: If you love your current neighbors, never move — you have no idea how bad it can get with petty, gossiping people next door. In auction news, a massive T-Rex skeleton nicknamed “Gus” (about the size of a school bus) just sold at Sotheby’s for over $50 million. And fun fact: If you were born before the 1840s, you had no idea dinosaurs ever existed! Whip-around time — guess the opening music… that’s right, it’s “Growing Pains”! Former child star Ashley Johnson, who played little Chrissy Seaver, shared the wild story of surviving an attempted kidnapping while working on the show.

  • Dildos and Butt Plugs and Vibes, Oh My!

The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour 2 (7.15)

Back in Boyle Heights, the nightmare continues after the massive cold-storage warehouse fire — 85 million pounds of rotting food is creating a vile stench, swarms of flies, rodents, a burst water main, and now oppressive humid summer heat on top of it all. They’ve only removed about 1.4 million pounds so far, and Timmy figures it’ll take years to clean up the mess while the EPA starts handing out fines.

In much lighter news, longtime KFI board operator and resident sexpert Sam Zia joins Timmy in studio to celebrate his big move to Spain after 25 years with the station — complete with a bag full of dildos and butt plugs (relax, he’s a sex therapist, it checks out!).

KTLA reporter Rachel Menitoff stayed ice-cold during a live shot when a giant flying cockroach landed on her head and crawled down her chest — true professional. Two corpse flowers are blooming at the Huntington Library, treating visitors to their signature rotting-flesh stench for 24–48 hours, and Grocery Outlet Bargain Market is expanding across Southern California.

  • Yellowstone’s Favorite Airborne Grandpa Talks Bison-Gate
    2026/07/16

The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour 3 (7.15)

Eric Deutsch of SmartFocus.ai joins Timmy to break down the latest on daylight saving time — he ran an AI-powered focus group on the measure Congress is considering to potentially get rid of it altogether.

You’ve probably seen the wild viral video of the bearded grandpa in Yellowstone who lured a bison away from his grandson and got thrown eight feet in the air — 65-year-old Carl McDaniel is now sharing details after breaking his femur in four places. Savannah Guthrie had quite the year: Throat surgery, her mom Nancy was kidnapped (and we still don’t know the full story), and fun fact — she met her first husband at the Michael Jackson trial!

Chipotle is boldly opening its first location in Mexico (in Monterrey), even though Taco Bell and Domino’s both famously failed and pulled out of the country. Monterrey might not be the usual Cabo or Puerto Vallarta tourist spot, but it’s worth a look. There’s a new blood test that can predict your likelihood of developing Alzheimer’s, and over 11,000 Californians must retake their DMV driving tests due to a major glitch.
