He has traveled the country for years and this past year, he made his debut on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon”. He is the co-host of the podcast “The Consumers” which is part of Nateland Entertainment. He contributes to the game show “The Greatest Average American” hosted by Nate Bargatze. AND he was the Missouri State Wrestling Champ both his junior and senior years in high school!!

My guest on Episode 5 is Tommy Schichtel! Tommy is the founder and lead guitarist for the instrumental retro-surf rock band, The Concussions. He’s also a member of The Fuzzrites, The B-Sides. He's also toured and recorded with Tobin Sprout. He’s the owner of Goon Lagoon Studios in Grand Rapids, MI where an artist can still record using good old analog equipment. More than all of that, he was my co-worker at Believe in Music on Plainfield when we were in high school. We got fired on the same day and we’ve been dear friends ever since.

My guest today is Tom Griswold! Tom is the host of “The Bob and Tom Show”. A show that started in Petoskey, MI in the early 1980’s, moved to Indianapolis in 1983, and then became nationally syndicated in 1995. In 2015, Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold were inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame, but MOST of all, 18 years ago he was willing to book a feature act out of Grand Rapids, MI on the show. They couldn’t have been nicer to me and Tom has been a tremendous mentor ever since. Enjoy the conversation!
