    TIDAL FLOODING TALK | Superstorm Sandy reminded the Northeast how vulnerable it is in 2012. Experts called Sandy a rare “once-in-500-years” storm due to its unusual path. But here’s the real risk: other hurricanes could strike every 50 years and cause equal or greater damage today.

    Historical storms, like the 1821 hurricane, would now trigger $100 billion in damages, thanks to more coastal development and rising seas. Jersey's own Dr. Megan Linkin, Senior Vice President at Swiss Re, joins Dan, Palma and Joe to talk more.
