  • More Connected Than We Think
    2026/10/08

What if the self is not as separate as it seems? What if another person’s suffering reaches further into our own lives than we realise? Could Scripture’s images of one body, one vine, and life “in Christ” point to a deeper human connection? If we are bound together, where does personal responsibility begin? And does belonging to one humanity mean that everyone will ultimately be saved—or does the truth demand a more challenging answer?

In this episode, we explore a richer and more deeply biblical vision of what it means to be human. Do our choices, suffering, healing, and hope reach beyond the boundaries of the individual? Perhaps deeper connection does not weaken accountability or make salvation automatic. Instead, it may show us why our response to God and our treatment of one another matter even more than we imagined.

  • Conformed by Culture
    2026/09/24

Does culture shape far more than our opinions—what if it quietly trains our hearts, instincts and moral emotions, teaching us what should feel loving, offensive, admirable or shameful before we have even stopped to think?

What happens when a society continues to use Christian words such as love, dignity, tolerance, justice and the sacred, while gradually detaching them from the story that first gave them meaning?

How should the church respond when what is right no longer feels right? Should Christians soften their message until it blends into the surrounding culture, or fight back so aggressively that truth is stripped of humility and love?

What would it look like if the church became a genuinely alternative community—one marked not by winning arguments, managing appearances or condemning outsiders, but by repentance, honesty, holiness, sensitivity and grace?

  • Join the Resistance.
    2026/09/10

What do we do when the world feels like it is coming apart — and yet we are still called to live, work, build, love and hope within it? Is our civilisation simply progressing, or is it a tottering tower built on foundations we no longer trust? And if Christians are meant to be “foreigners and exiles,” does that mean retreating from the world, or learning how to live faithfully right in the middle of Babylon?

In this episode we ask, what happens when a culture trades meaning for pleasure, wisdom for control, and deep attention for constant stimulation? Why are so many people — especially younger generations — asking, “What’s the point?” What kind of life can resist the pull of the pleasure machine? And where might Christians find the courage, clarity and rootedness to become people of peace in an anxious age?
