History does not stay in the past. Its conflicts, compromises, abuses of power, and acts of courage simply repeat in echoing patterns and threads throughout time.

Threads of the Republic: History, Power, and the Principles of a Nation is a narrative history podcast hosted by Carolyn on Principle. Drawing on primary-source documents, official records, and historical accounts, Carolyn separates what the evidence establishes from what it does not.

This is history as a guide to understanding power and its use today, protecting individual liberty, and preserving the underlying principles of our free nation.
