Episode 311 of Tom Clark's 6M Podcast takes a look at Thor: The Dark World, the 2013 Marvel Studios sequel that brings Thor, Jane Foster and Loki back together as the Dark Elf Malekith seeks to use the Aether to plunge the Nine Realms into darkness. Tom Clark and Phil discuss Thor's evolving relationship with Jane and Odin, Loki's unlikely alliance with his brother, Frigga's death, the Dark Elves, Kurse, and the movie's climactic battle during the Convergence.

They also explore the complicated production of the sequel, Alan Taylor's darker approach to Asgard, the movie's filming locations, the casting and character of Malekith, the Collector and the movie's Infinity Stone connections, and how The Dark World fits into the larger MCU. Is this truly one of the worst Marvel films of all time, or did Avengers: Endgame give it new life?Dive into that and a lot more!
