    The first-degree murder trial of Dean Penney is underway at Supreme Court in Corner Brook.

    Penney is accused of killing his estranged wife Jennifer Hillier-Penney. The mother of two was 38 years old at the time of her disappearance from Newfoundland's Northern Peninsula more than nine years ago. On this week’s podcast, we’ll walk you through what happened on the day Hillier-Penney disappeared, the extensive search that followed and bring details from a trial that include undercover police officers, promises of money and a confession to a pretend crime boss.
