  • Can I Trust God One Day at a Time? Enough for Today
    2026/08/25

Season 2 • Episode 2 — How Can I Trust God One Day at a Time?

Have you ever wondered if you’ll have enough?

Enough strength. Enough money. Enough patience. Enough hope. Enough faith to make it through what’s in front of you?

In this episode of This Way, we walk into one of the most tender stories of God’s provision in Scripture: Elijah and the widow of Zarephath in 1 Kings 17. She has almost nothing left—just enough flour and oil for one final meal. Yet God doesn't give her a year's supply all at once. He gives her enough for the next day.

We’ll also look at the manna God provided for Israel in the wilderness and Jesus' words, "Give us this day our daily bread." Because sometimes trusting God doesn't mean knowing how everything will work out. It means trusting Him with today.

I'll share a story from my own university years, when I didn't have enough money for the bus to get to class—and an unexpected phone call became a quiet reminder that God can provide before we even know what we need.

We'll also travel 700 metres underground with the 33 Chilean miners, who survived 69 days trapped beneath the earth, sustained one day at a time by food, Scripture, prayer, and hope.

Maybe you're wondering how you'll make it through your own difficult season.

    Come walk with me.

Maybe God isn't asking you to figure out tomorrow.

Maybe He's simply inviting you to trust Him with today.

    Key Scriptures: 1 Kings 17:7–16; Exodus 16; Matthew 6:11; John 6:35.

    New episodes every other Tuesday.

If you're longing to walk more closely with Jesus, discover the sacred in your everyday steps, and learn to recognize His presence in the ordinary moments of life, follow This Way and let's keep walking together.

  • 1. I Don’t Feel Strong Enough: Enough Strength
    2026/08/11

    Season 2 • Episode 1: I Don't Feel Strong Enough

Have you ever felt like God was asking you to do something you simply weren't strong enough to do?

In this opening episode of Season 2 of This Way, we slow down and walk with Gideon through Judges 6:11–16, where God doesn't ask him to become stronger before obeying—He simply says, "Go in the strength you have."

Together we'll discover why God often calls ordinary people who feel inadequate, how His strength meets us in our weakness, and why the next faithful step matters more than having the whole journey figured out. Through a personal story from a remote backwoods trail, the inspiring example of Team Hoyt, and practical biblical encouragement, you'll be reminded that God isn't looking for extraordinary strength—He's looking for ordinary obedience.

If you're facing grief, a difficult decision, a new calling, anxiety about the future, or simply wondering whether you're enough, this episode is for you.

Come discover the sacred hidden in your everyday steps—and learn why God never asks you for tomorrow's strength, only today's faithful step.

Key Bible Passages: Judges 6:11–16, Isaiah 40:29, 2 Corinthians 12:9

    New episodes every other Tuesday.

If you're longing to walk more closely with Jesus, discover the sacred in your everyday steps, and learn to recognize His presence in the ordinary moments of life, follow This Way on your favourite podcast platform. And until next time... let's keep walking this way together.

  • Thus Far the Lord has Helped Us - Season 1 Celebration!
    2026/07/28

As we reach the end of Season 1 of This Way Podcast, we're taking a moment to pause, look back, and remember the faithfulness of God.

Throughout Scripture, God's people built memorial stones—Ebenezers—to mark moments when the Lord showed up, made a way, and proved Himself faithful. In this special season finale, we'll explore Samuel's Stone of Help, Joshua's memorial stones from the Jordan River, Jacob's encounter with God at Bethel, and the greatest stone of all: the stone rolled away from Christ's tomb on Resurrection morning.

Together, we'll discover why God calls us to remember, how our wilderness seasons can become holy ground, and what it means to declare, "Thus far the Lord has helped us."

Join me as I share some personal Ebenezer stones from the first year of This Way Podcast—moments of grief, grace, unexpected provision, and lessons learned while walking this trail with Jesus.

Whether you've been here since Episode 1 or you've recently joined the journey, this episode is a celebration of God's faithfulness, a reminder of our living hope in Christ, and an invitation to trust Him with whatever lies ahead.

Thus far, the Lord has helped us. And He isn't finished yet.
