After putting off the old man we come into the new man! In order to do this we must put on the new man. Christianity does not start until we put on the 'new'. The new creation man is renewed in every aspect of living. This included logic, understanding, grace, and knowledge. In order to make these aspects new we must sit and learn from the Lord himself, hearing from Him! For this week's Remnant Challenge let's choose one aspect of our lives that we want to be renewed. As we take those aspects to prayer for the week allow the Lord of His Word to deal with you about that area! Comment about your experience below!

Coming into the new life requires taking off more than just our sins. It requires us taking off the producer of our sins: the old man. The old man is the inherit nature that every person is born with. This nature is the primary producer of a life opposite of God. So, if we are all born with this nature then in order to enter into a relationship with God or to become righteous, we have to put off this nature. This is what being 'born-again' means. To be born again is about taking off an old way of living, a life that habitually sinned, and putting on the new life, the life of Christ.

For this week's Remnant Challenge let's study Colossians chapter 3 in two different translations! The Lord will be gracious as we continue to dive deep into this study in Jesus Name!

The new creation life is what every Christian is supposed to be living. This life is the life of Christ in a believer after coming to repentance. This life is learned! Christ life is not automatic. As believers if you have yet to learn Christ then you have yet to live out the 'Christian' life! In order to learn this life, you have to take off your old way of living. Until the old nature has been stripped off you cannot enter into this life!
