Welcome back to another episode of No W In Anchors, the unofficial Stockton Town podcast.

This week, we’ve got plenty to get through. We’ll take a look back at the games so far, the performances, the results and where we think things are heading as the season continues.

We’ll also be talking about social media — the good, the bad and the sometimes ridiculous — and the part it now plays in non-league football, particularly when supporters have opinions that don’t necessarily match the official line.

But we’re also going to address something a little more serious.

We’ll be talking about the altercation that followed the Warrington Rylands play-off game last season, what happened afterwards and, importantly, the fact that despite the time that has now passed, there has still been no response from the club.

As always, these are our opinions. We’ll say what we think, we’ll probably disagree with each other at some point, and hopefully we’ll have a bit of a laugh along the way.

🎙️ THE LATEST NO W IN ANCHORS PODCAST IS NOW LIVE!

We’re back with another episode, and there’s plenty to get through this week!

We look back at the last three games and give our thoughts on the performances.

Where are the goals? It’s certainly not been the start we hoped for in front of goal, but we’ve had a look back at some of Stockton Town’s previous slow starts to a season… and things really aren’t as bad as some might think!

So, no panic button being pressed just yet!

We discuss the new players, what we’ve seen from them so far and our thoughts on how the team is shaping up.

We also give credit where it’s due for the improvements to the matchday experience — and perhaps most importantly…

THEY’RE SELLING CHIPS NOW!
And we can confirm… they’re good!

Finally, we talk about something we think is important — the right of supporters to have an opinion.

Fans won’t always agree. That’s football. But people should be able to praise, criticise, question and debate what’s happening at their club without being shot down for having a different view — or seeing comments they’ve made simply disappear from social media.

Different opinions create discussion, and discussion is exactly what football — and our podcast — is all about.

No W in Anchors Podcast — latest episode OUT NOW!

Have a listen and, as always, let us know what you think.
