Spain's first serial killer was a man who claimed to be a werewolf. Manuel Romasanta reported being under a witches curse for years causing him to become a werewolf and prey on those in the woods. But as a human, he was a guide for vulnerable women and children, seeking out a better life. After murdering them, he would send letters to family in an attempt to show they were doing well. Meanwhile he would sell their belongings and reportedly use their body fat to create soaps. Manuel was sentenced to death, then changed to life in prison at the decree of Queen Isabell II, dying in prison before he turned 60.

Christa Pike had a rough childhood. She was the victim of multiple assaults and an unstable home environment. She dropped out of school, earning her GED. Then decided to join job corps and train to become a nurse. At job corps she wanted to be the queen. When another girl, Colleen, said hello to her boyfriend, her jealousy came out. Christa attempted to get the rest of the cohort to hate Colleen with her. After Colleen reported Christa to the school, Christa dodged expulsion. But when the new year started, Christa decided it was the end of Colleen. On the pretense of picking out a movie, Christa brought along Tadaryl and another friend. The trio viciously attacked Colleen, cutting her and bashing her head in. After killing her, Tadaryl carved a satanic star into Colleens chest while Christa cut out her own trophy, a piece of Colleens skull. When brought in by police, the trio immediately confessed. Christa received death, Tadaryl received life, and their friend turned State's evidence and got away with murder.

Christa is set for execution on September 30th 2026.
