It started with a morning run on Sunday, a moment that unexpectedly brought me back to John Donne's poem, Death, Be Not Proud.

In this episode, I recite and reflect on the poem and speak about something we have slowly pushed out of our minds: death. We live as though we will be here forever, and perhaps many of the things we struggle with today come from forgetting that one day, this life will end.

Not because he wasn't there, but because the greatest human being to ever walk this earth was sitting on the floor, among his people, with nothing to prove to anyone. In a world that tells us to perform our worth, chase our validation, and make sure everyone in the room knows who we are this story is a reminder that true honour has never needed an audience.
