- Leon Mitchell, an HVAC contractor who had inspected 4421 Dunmore weeks earlier, used a crawl-space vent to enter 4412 and held Larry in an equipment room beneath a rented garage.
- Over seven days in captivity, Larry used a ballpoint pen found on a shelf to write seventeen index cards detailing sounds, sights, and a name he overheard.
- On March 11, Jennifer Sheridan found the rubber-banded, zip-tied cards tucked behind the broken lattice by the gas meter, where they became the central piece of evidence.
