“The Mighty One, God the LORD, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.” (Psalm 50:1)

The Psalms give us the voice of God. When we think of the Psalms, we typically think of a poet pouring his heart out to the Lord, but there are also psalms that are the opposite: God pouring out his heart to his people. And, of course, all Scripture is breathed out by God, so the mystery of inspired revelation is nowhere more clear than in these psalms, the conversations between the human and the divine.
