Does the world actually feel more unstable than it used to, or does every generation feel this way?
In this episode of Faith is a Journey, we talk about growing up in a seemingly simpler time, the Cold War, COVID, social media, nonstop news, algorithms, anxiety, and why today's constant stream of information can make it feel like everything is falling apart.
But what does Jesus actually tell us to do when the world feels frightening?
We look at what Scripture says about fear, anxiety, the end times, where we focus our minds, and what it means to remain faithful when the world around us feels uncertain.
Jesus never promised us a trouble-free world. In John 16:33 He said, “In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.”
Maybe the question isn't whether we can figure out everything that's happening around us.
Maybe the better question is: Are we living afraid, or are we living faithfully?
Join us as we talk honestly about fear, faith, information overload, and learning to keep our focus on Christ in an anxious world.
Faith is a Journey REAL FAITH • REAL LIFE • JESUS
