There's a line in the song Rattle that says, "Just ask the man who was thrown on the bones of Elisha if there's anything that He (God) can't do." We gotta hear the Backstory to that one. The story is recorded in 2 Kings and it still impacts our lives today. Who will you be buried with? Everyone who believes in Jesus and is baptized is buried with Christ. Jesus is changing our lives today, just like that guy who was thrown on Elisha's bones. Ever feel like your life is a dumpster fire? Do you ever look at your life and think, "Well that's not good." And then it gets worse? As we sing Trust in God, we confess faith in God who saves us. Today we are going to read the prophet Daniel who tells us about a day when his friends got thrown into a fire because they trusted God. And then Jesus stood with them in the fire.
