The Witchy Therapist Podcast is for a podcast for mental health professionals and healers who are ready to step outside the mainstream and the clients who would love to work with them! We talk to real, practicing therapists about how they ethically integrate "witchy" practices like tarot, astrology, energy work, hypnosis, past life regression, mediumship, and more into their sessions. We also do deep dives into topics like Reiki, clinical use of tarot, crystals, and more.

  • The Brain Keeps the Score, the Body is the Score card. An Interview with Jodi Silverman, LCSW
    2026/09/01
We had the opportunity to speak to Jodi Silverman, LCSW about science and spirituality; trauma responses vs intuition; and her Soul-Woven therapy framework for soul locks. If you have wondered how to tell if something is intuition or trauma, this interview will give you exactly what you need. This episode was truly a joy to record and we think you will love Jodi as much as we do! Resources in this episode:Can Witchcraft Heal Trauma? video by Kelly-Ann MaddoxTry Charity's moon phase journaling: If you can, dedicate a journal to journaling at the full & new moon. At the new moon, set intentions. Take note of what sign that new moon is in. At the full moon, note which sign it is in and go back to the pages you journaled when the moon was new in that same sign. Look at the intentions you set and practice gratitude about how far you have progressed with those intentions. You may also find that you are grateful for intentions that did not come to pass, journal about that as well. About our Guest: Jodi Silverman, LCSW, is a psychotherapist, Brainspotting practitioner, Reiki Master, and nervous system educator who helps people heal through the integration of science and spirituality. Drawing from Polyvagal Theory, HeartMath, Brainspotting, Psychotherapeutic Reiki, and her Soul-Woven Therapy framework, Jodi explores how nervous system regulation, embodiment, and intuitive awareness can support deep healing and authentic living. She is the host of The Spiritually Curious Therapist podcast, where she investigates the intersection of mental health, consciousness, and human potential. She also teaches psychotherapeutic reiki to clinicians who want to ethically integrate reiki into their clinical practice.Connect with Jodi: Websites: therachihealing.com and journeywithkindredsouls.com Listen to the Spiritually Curious Therapist Podcast Instagram: @therachihealing Facebook: Her group for clinicians practicing Psychotherapeutic ReikiAbout the Hosts: Charity O’Reilly, LPC has been a trauma healer since 2006.
