  • The Gospel: The Gap You Can't Close
    2026/05/03

We’re trained to believe that with enough effort, we can close any gap—but not the one between us and God. In this powerful message from , Pastor Jermaine unpacks the true weight of God’s holiness and our separation through sin. Walking through Isaiah 6, Ephesians 2, and Acts 2, he reveals that the gospel isn’t about trying harder—it’s about surrendering completely. Jesus doesn’t help us across the gap… He closes it. The invitation is clear: repent, trust, and receive new life through Him.

  • The Gospel: From Familiar to Formed
    2026/04/19

This message addresses the danger of becoming too familiar with the gospel—when something once life-changing becomes something we simply “know” but no longer feel. Familiarity can form us, or it can numb us.

It refocuses on who God truly is—holy, set apart, and beyond comparison (Isaiah 6). When we lose sight of His holiness, we minimize our sin, and the gospel begins to feel unnecessary.

Scripture reminds us that we are not just flawed—we are spiritually dead (Ephesians 2:1–3). And dead people don’t need advice; they need resurrection.

Through the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector (Luke 18:9–14), we see the difference between self-improvement and true surrender. The gospel is not a life upgrade—it’s the victorious announcement of what Jesus has already done.

Communion calls us back to this truth: “Do this in remembrance of me” (Luke 22:19).
