Ten ways God speaks, from the most direct to the most subtle:
1. Scripture — the written word, the primary channel.
2. Prayer — not just talking, but listening in the quiet
3. The Holy Spirit — an inner witness,
4. The House of God: Jeremiah 18:2 "Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words."
5. Dreams and visions
6. Nature — Psalm 19 says, The heavens declare his glory
7. Circumstances — open and closed doors,
8. Conscience — that inner moral compass.
9. Angels - He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.” Acts 10:1-3 KJV
10. Silence — sometimes God speaks by not speaking
