We will ask about their true meaning, the Prophet’s feelings toward these companions, and the wisdom behind his choices. We will discuss the final Hajj, preparations for succession, the choice of Abu Bakr to lead prayer, and the causes of division between Sunni and Shia after the Prophet’s passing. We will ask if his family played a role, and whether leadership remaining within his family could have changed the path of unity.
