“You’ve changed.”
Yeah… I fucking hope so.
In this episode of Black Wolves Confessions with Jax, we’re talking about what happens when you outgrow the version of yourself that everyone else got comfortable with.
The people-pleaser. The one who stayed quiet to keep the peace. The one who gave unlimited chances, overexplained every boundary, ignored red flags, or kept showing up for people who weren’t showing up for them.
But growth isn’t just about pointing fingers at everyone who hurt us. Sometimes we have to look in the mirror too. Sometimes we were the problem. Sometimes our boundaries became walls. Sometimes we hurt people while we were hurting. And becoming a new version of yourself means being willing to own that shit, too.
We’re getting into outgrowing relationships, changing boundaries, losing people along the way, missing who you used to be, and learning how to appreciate the person who got you this far, even when you know you can’t be that person anymore.
Because maybe the old version of you wasn’t weak.
Maybe they were surviving.
And maybe you don’t have to hate who you were to become who you’re supposed to be.
🐺 My question for you: What’s one thing the old version of you would have tolerated that the person you are today absolutely will not?
