On September 28, 2018, David Darnell Carter Sr. went to a high school football game to watch his teenage son play. A regular, ordinary evening spent supporting the family he adored. David was a devoted father, a hard worker at the Magna Seating Plant, and a well-loved presence in his Melvindale, Michigan community.

When David failed to show up for work 2 days later or return calls over the next few days, his family knew something was wrong. Their worst fears were realized when his remains were discovered along Interstate 75 in Ohio. Investigators quickly identified a primary person of interest, his then-girlfriend Tamera, "Tammy" Williams. Who was briefly detained, but released pending further investigation. When the investigation finally caught up to her, fled, sparking a nationwide manhunt that continues to this day.

Years later, despite a federal warrant and a spot on the U.S. Marshals Most Wanted list, Tamera remains at large, leaving a grieving family searching for closure and accountability.

In this episode, we trace the timeline of late September 2018, examine the evidence gathered across state lines, and look into the ongoing search for justice for David Carter.
