We have made it to the final stop before WWF InVasion 2001! The Alliance kicks off SmackDown! With a message for Vince McMahon. Chris Jericho challenges DDP. Afterwards, Y2J attacks WCW referee Nick Patrick and DDP with steel chair shots. Lance Storm takes on Christian.

The Undertaker, Kane, and Tajiri team up against The Dudley Boyz and Tazz. Torrie Wilson challenges Trish Stratus to an Arm Wrestling Contest which leads to chaos. WWF Light Heavyweight Champion X-Pac and WWF Hardcore Champion Jeff Hardy battle WCW Cruiserweight Champion Billy Kidman and Rob Van Dam.

WWF Champion Stone Cold lays out Vince McMahon with a guitar backstage, showing him he’s back to his old self. And in the main event, WCW Champion Booker T and Rhyno team up against Kurt Angle and WWF Champion Stone Cold. However, DDP kidnaps Debra backstage leading The Alliance to destroy the WWF.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown! Is live in Berlin, Germany on January 9, 2026!

The UPWP brings you the recap of this special German edition of WWE SmackDown! The Viper Randy Orton kicks off the show but gets interrupted by Trick Williams. Trick Willy puts Orton on notice, but Orton drops Trick with a draping ddt. Rey Fenix then goes on to battle Trick Williams. Drew McIntyre interrupts a Damian Priest interview backstage, highlighting their past rivalry.

We also find out that Drew stole WWE Champion Cody Rhodes’ father’s watch. WWE Women’s US Champion Giulia defends against Alexa Bliss. During the match, Lash Legend gets involved and afterwards, Nia Jax annihilates Bliss. The WyattSicks go to war with Solo Sikoa and the MFT’s. During the match, Solo steals Wyatt's lantern.

Alba Fyre challenges Jordynne Grace and after the match WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill confronts Grace. WWE US Champion Carmelo Hayes defends in an open challenge against Shinsuke Nakamura. And in the main event, we get a shock as Drew McIntyre defeats WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in a 3 Stages of Hell Match to become new champion and we see the return of Jacob Fatu.

WWF Raw Is War is live in Providence, Rhode Island on July 16, 2001!

Paul Heyman tries to recruit Spike Dudley into the Alliance, however, Spike turns down Paul leading The Dudleyz to come out, attack Spike with his crutch and force him to watch Bubba Ray super powerbomb Molly Holly through a table. WCW Tag Champion Chuck Palumbo takes on WWF Tag Champion Faarooq.

Edge challenges Mike Awesome. Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley announce that Team Alliance will be WCW Champion Booker T, Rhyno, DDP, and The Dudley Boyz. Vince McMahon attempts to get WWF Champion Stone Cold lead Team WWF. Tazz battles William Regal, however, Tajiri screws over Tazz helping Regal get the win.

WCW Champion Booker T defends against Chris Jericho, but WCW referee Nick Patrick screws over Y2J. Kurt Angle goes to war with Raven in a Hardcore Match and destroys Alliance members with chairshots. The Hardy Boyz challenge the Dudley Boyz. Afterwards, Rob Van Dam lays out Jeff Hardy with a 5 Star Frog Splash.

Classy Freddie Blassie tries to rally Team WWF, Trish Stratus takes on Terri. After the match, Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson attack Trish but Lita makes the save. And in the main event, The Undertaker and Kane team up against Rhyno and DDP. During the match, The Alliance and WWF brawl until Stone Cold Steve Austin clears the ring and the WWF stand tall.

We start the night with new champions as Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley finally dethrone the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors. Gunther comes out to brag about destroying John Cena, however, The Phenomenal AJ Styles wants to teach Gunther a lesson in respect with a huge slap across the face.

Becky Lynch ends the shocking title reign of WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri, although, the win was by cheating. We hear from the new WWE World Tag Team Champions The Usos. WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer shows up in a boot because she injured her ankle last week. Vaquer meets her own version of Vecna, as Raquel Rodriguez destroys the Champ attacking her injured ankle.

Liv Morgan battles Lyra Valkyria. And in the main event, WWE World Champion CM Punk tries to go inside the Upside Down and battle the human Demongorgen that is Bron Breakker. Was Breakker able to dethrone Punk? Tune in.

Shane McMahon, Paul Heyman, and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley introduce the fans to the Alliance between WCW and ECW. Stephanie claims she could not wait for her father to die. Hardcore Holly challenges Tazz. Afterwards, Tazz attacks Tajiri at ringside. WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin wants to make Vince McMahon cheer up so he performs Kumbaya.

Chris Jericho battles Lance Storm. Kurt Angle also tries to cheer up Vince with a rendition of Jimmy Crack Corn. Vince decides to head out to the arena and tell the Texas Rattlesnake that they need the old Stone Cold for WWF InVasion. Austin just leaves. Rhyno takes on Kane and WCW referee Nick Patrick screws the Big Red Machine. Lita goes one on one with Trish Stratus. After the match, Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson kiss the Hardyz backstage.

Jeff Hardy shocks the world as he defeats WWF Hardcore Champion Mike Awesome with some help from Edge & Christian to bring the title back to the WWF. In the main event, The Undertaker and Kurt Angle team up against DDP and Shane McMahon. Afterwards, The Alliance destroys Team WWF.

WE Friday Night SmackDown! Is live in Buffalo, New York on January 2, 2026!

The Uncensored Pro Wrestling Podcast is recapping the first ever 2026 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown! And it was intense!

We start off the night with future WWE HOF The Miz claiming he’s the locker room leader, however, with WrestleMania around the corner many superstars disagree with The Miz, specifically, the Viper Randy Orton, who returns to lay out The Miz with a satisfying RKO! The Viper then lets WWE Champion Cody Rhodes that he’s coming for the title. DAMN!

We see a special 8 Woman Tag Match as Lash Legend, Nia Jax, and WWE Women’s Tag Champions The Kabuki Warriors battle Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, and Charlotte Flair. Great woman showcase to kick off the new year!

Kit Wilson with a pretty cool new theme song takes on a returning Matt Cardona who says goodbye to Zack Ryder to show up as his true Indy realness. Sami Zayn returns and claims he wants a shot at the WWE Title, well apparently a lot of people including a former TNA Champion Trick Williams who shows up and claims his stake at the gold. WWE US Champion Carmelo Hayes defends against Johnny Gargano in a GREAT match. WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill confronts new SmackDown! Wrestler Jordynne Grace backstage, leading to Grace to refer to Cargill as a “bitch”.

The demonic Drew McIntyre reveals to WWE Champion Cody Rhodes the 3 Stages of Hell Match stipulations that will take place in Berlin. The 1st round is a Singles Match, 2nd round is a Falls Count Anywhere Match and a 3rd fall would be a Steel Cage Match. Drew then gets under the skin of the champ by burning a framed picture of Cody and his father Dusty Rhodes. This match will definitely be Hell.

WWE Women’s US Champion Chelsea Green defends against Giulia, in a match that sees a new two time WWE Women’s US Champion. And in the main event, Damian Priest goes to war with Aleister Black in an Ambulance Match that was AWESOME! Is this the end of their deep rivalry? Doubt it.

Kurt Angle gives Vince McMahon and WWF Champion Stone Cold cowboy badges. WWF Intercontinental Champion Albert defends against Rhyno. Jeff Hardy challenges the Big Show. Afterwards, Trish Stratus makes out with Jeff. WCW Champion Booker T defends against Kurt Angle.

Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson brag about WCW backstage. Kane and Chris Jericho team up against Lance Storm and WWF Hardcore Champion Mike Awesome. T&A battle Too Cool. Afterwards, Crash and his cousin Molly Holly make the save for Too Cool. DX reunite to take on The Radicalz.

RTC become new WWF Tag Team Champions after Edge and Christian help them beat The Hardy Boyz. WWF Hardcore Champion Steve Blackman defends against Kane which sees Y2J attack the monster. Raven challenges Jerry the King Lawler.

The Dudley Boyz battle Edge and Christian in a Tables Match. And in the main event Rikishi and WWF Champion Kurt Angle take on Stone Cold Steve Austin in a Handicap Match. Triple H runs out and hits the Texas Rattlesnake with a sledgehammer and proclaims he was behind him getting run over by Rikishi.
