The True Source of Your Influence: How You See People Changes Everything

Would you help someone succeed if you knew they could become better than you?

In this episode of Dialing Bnei Brak, Charlie Harary and Rabbi Moshe Levy explore how our influence begins with the way we see other people. Developing an ayin tov means wanting someone else to have good, even when their success touches our own insecurities.

Through the stories of Noach, Moshe Rabbeinu, and Avraham Avinu, they explore how jealousy spreads, why good middos are essential to Torah learning, and how our past struggles can help us become more sensitive, generous people.

The conversation brings these ideas into everyday life: how we look at our spouse, the expectations we place on our children, the way we treat a business partner, and whether we’re willing to share the advice that could help someone outshine us. Rabbi Levi also explains why recognizing a flaw is a step forward—and how acting on that recognition can change the way we give.
