Timothy Martin is a proud father, resilience advocate, and the author of The Symbols We Carry: Finding Strength, Steadiness, and Resilience in the Lessons Life Leaves Behind, a deeply personal book inspired by his own experiences with trauma, loss, healing, and the unexpected symbols that helped guide him along the way. Tim grew up around the world, as the son of the United States Marine, experiences which shaped his perspective on service, resilience, and connection. That perspective was further shaped through the privilege of working alongside Medal of Honor recipient Hershel “Woody” Williams, whose example of service and commitment to others left a lasting impression on him. Tim’s own journey eventually led him to create the Coin of Resilience, a tangible reminder to keep fighting, reach out, and remember that you are not alone.
