The Super League clubs have finally all played the same amount of matches. One clear favorite has emerged with the next two closest on level points. The relegation battle also has two clubs on level footing heading into the break. We will take a look into how the second tier is going and who might be coming up or heading down to the amateur levels. Finally, I will preview Switzerland's UEFA Nations League matches.

Xherdan Shaqiri rescued Basel from what was set to be a third straight defeat. Sion thrashed Sankt Gallen in what ended up being their third win in a row. Lugano and Young Boys dueled out a 2-2 draw. And, finally, a the bottom half of the table was turned upside down with a Servette victory over Lausanne and tough losses for Thun and Vaduz against the Zurich clubs.

Welcome back to another episode as we go over not one but two match rounds of Super League action. Basel held a second half lead in both of their fixtures but walked away with no points. Servette did not score in either of their games enroute to dropping all six points. Lugano and Sion each won both of their matches while the Grasshoppers and Vaduz both took advantage of the week by grabbing key wins.

Vaduz won their first match of the 2026/27 Super League season. Thun win a classic duel with Sankt Gallen and the new Der Klasiker ends all square as Basel and Young Boys deliver an instant classic in the Swiss capital. We will also take a look at who managed to make it to the Conference League stage proper, and who they will face while they are there.

Super League clubs were given a hard reality check in the first leg of the playoff round of Conference League qualifying earlier this week. Meanwhile, domestically, Basel, Luzern and Young Boys all won their fixtures in what became a mini-week of matches. Do not worry, though, next week will bring us a full slate of games to go over

Lugano are now the only remaining perfect side in the Brack Super League following their demolition of FC Zurich. Young Boys and Sankt Gallen each drew as Basel, Sion and Servette picked up much needed wins. In Europe, Thun, Sankt Gallen and Lugano won convincingly while Vaduz continued a dreadful run of one-goal losses

The first full round of the Swiss Cup was this weekend and it delivered plenty of one-sided score lines for the Super League clubs. Thun, Sankt Gallen, Lugano and Sion all won their European Qualifying ties as Vaduz were eliminated at home. Also, Basel host Barcelona in an exciting preseason friendly which saw 7 goals tallied.

Thun were close to doing the unthinkable in Croatia before a red card allowed Dinamo Zagreb to storm back against the Swiss champions. Sankt Gallen also looked to be doing well in Lisbon before another red card hampered their efforts against Benfica. Domestically Young Boys continued their perfect start to the season with a dominant win while Basel received a taste of their own medicine. Elsewhere, in the global game, FIFA president Infantino's plan to "sell" the World Cup was rejected by Switzerland and Europe.
