  • Being petty about: bad mood accusations, being more mindful next time and shushing adults
    2026/07/28

Welcome back to The Summer We Turned Petty 💅🏻

This week we're being petty about being told we're in a bad mood when we're ABSOLUTELY not, the passive-aggressive art of "being more mindful next time", and whether it's ever acceptable to shush a fully grown adult.

  • Being petty about: autocorrect, fake personal bests and Netflix revenge
    2026/07/14

Welcome back to The Summer We Turned Petty 🧡

This week we're being petty about autocorrect doing us dirty, the boy who lied about his running time because he couldn't bear for a girl to be faster than him, and someone using their brother's Netflix account for the ultimate petty payback.

Along the way, we discuss fragile egos, sibling revenge, and why technology always seems to betray us at the worst possible moment.

  • Being petty about: not being pretty, Vinted hagglers and becoming World Cup super fans out of spite
    2026/07/07

Welcome back to The Summer We Turned Petty 💅🏻

This week we're being petty about people thinking we don't understand the name of our own podcast, online marketplace etiquette, football fever, and the hill we'll happily choose to die on just because someone told us we couldn't.

  • Being petty about: cancelling dates, passive aggressive emojis, Peter Andre and digital crimes
    2026/06/30

Welcome to The Summer We Turned Petty. 💖

In our very first episode, we're being petty about the man who cancelled a third date because he had ironing to do (yes, really), the thumbs-up emoji situation, and the genuine terror of accidentally sending GIF’s and TikToks to the wrong people.

Along the way, we discuss modern dating, group chat politics, and why some digital mistakes should qualify as criminal offenses.

  • Trailer: The Summer We Turned Petty
    2026/06/28

Welcome to your weekly meeting of the PTA: the Petty Tyrants Association.

At The Summer We Turned Petty, we don't offer advice, we can't offer solutions, and we almost certainly won't help you move on. What we can do is discuss any and all petty grievances at length.

Each week, Katie and Christine unpack the dating disasters, friendship dramas, passive-aggressive emojis, social etiquette violations and everyday catastrophes that have sent them into a petty spiral.

Because no issue is too small and no spiral is too dramatic. Sometimes you don't need perspective. You just need to spend some time making a mountain out of a molehill and sweating the small stuff.
