Sometimes the thing that makes us uncomfortable is exactly where He's asking us to step out—and sometimes our willingness to share our story becomes part of someone else's healing.
In this episode, Lindsay Ploehn shares the unexpected story of a family mission trip to Costa Rica with her son. She went hoping to share a heart for missions and to serve alongside him—but God had something much deeper in mind.
What began with a burrito ministry on the streets of Jaco and a desire to serve quickly brought Lindsay face-to-face with parts of her own story she hadn't expected to confront. When she felt God prompting her to share her testimony with men recovering from addiction, she had to step into a deeply vulnerable place. What followed was an incredibly powerful moment of healing, connection, and redemption—for Lyndsay, for her son, and for the men who heard her story.
