Dr. Guess has spent his career around high-level athletes and championship programs, but his approach has never been about talent alone. It's about developing the PERSON behind the athlete—building discipline, demanding accountability, paying attention to the details, and creating standards that prepare young men for far more than what happens on the court or field.

He also shares the experiences that built his own Burn—from growing up in a single-parent home with a desire to create a different future, to completing his doctorate after his daughter challenged him to finish what he started.

Ben and Dr. Guess dive into championship culture at Michigan State, lessons from working alongside Tom Izzo, the responsibility coaches have to the people they lead, and why even the most talented individuals still need to be held accountable to the standard.

Talent can open the door. But discipline, accountability, consistency, and character determine what YOU do once you're there.
