  • Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding recap: Tom Brady’s paparazzi photo and Mike Vrabel’s PR tour + the United States becomes a proper soccer country thanks to FIFA corruption
    2026/07/07

Madeline and Charlotte are back with a Tayvis Wedding Extravaganza! But first: The United States dabbled in FIFA corruption, which means America is officially a soccer country. Donald Trump called FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, and got Flo Balogun’s red card un-suspended (the gals recorded this before the game last night, but they did have a feeling it wouldn’t go well). They also talk about Norway’s Erling Haaland, the great Messi, and who will win it all.

Then it’s Tayvis time! The gals talk about the sportiest guests at the wedding, from Mike Vrabel, to Tom Brady, to Dean Blandino — and if you don’t know who Dean Blandino is, keep listening. The gals also discuss the business of Taylor Swift, the logistics of a wedding like this, Lena Dunham’s football speech, and much, much more!

  • LeBron James is leaving the Lakers, Mexico’s historic World Cup win, and everything we know about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s MSG wedding
    2026/07/02

Madeline and Charlotte are back with an episode about all the glimpses they’ve caught so far surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.

But first, a few things! Serena Williams reportedly injured her knee during her Wimbledon singles match and is doubtful to play doubles with her sister, Venus. World Cupdate: Mexico made history and won the team’s first knockout match in 40 years when they beat Ecuador 2-0.

Then: LeBron is leaving the Lakers! He’s not retiring and he’ll play somewhere else. Will that be the Golden State Warriors with Steph Curry and Draymond Green? The Cleveland Cavaliers? No one knows yet. He did, however, get his son paid by LA before he bounced.

And finally: Taylor and Travis’s wedding! Taylor’s team applied for a street activity permit from July 2nd -July 4th near MSG — is this actually happening? The gals discuss everything we know so far and give their take on why the rollout of info could actually be a brilliant meta-commentary on Taylor’s public image to date.

  • “America’s Sweethearts” Season 3 on Netflix reveals the bleakest truths about the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders and the national mood towards American women
    2026/06/25

Madeline and Charlotte are back with a deep dive of Season 3 of “America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.” The gals talked about Season 2 last year when it came out, which was a very different series that followed the cheerleaders as they fought for better pay.

This year, the antagonist is the outside world, and the show became a show about the show itself.

The gals analyze all of the themes the show presents: Supporting hegemonic masculinity, the Cowboys’ thin, white standard of beauty, the mirage of empowerment, what it means to be famous today, and this season as contextualized by the rise of the tradwife.

Plus: the origins of cheerleading, Reece’s decision to retire, Kelli and Judy leading from a place of fear, the hip surgeries that multiple performers need by the age of 25, the power imbalance that occurs when the show anoints certain women as stars, and much more.

    Selected sources from this episode:

Michaele L. Ferguson, Choice Feminism and the Fear of Politics (2010)

Sophie Gilbert, Girl on Girl (2025)

Laura Grindstaff, Emily West, Cheerleading and the Gendered Politics of Sport (2006)

    Alex Kuczynski, Beauty Junkies (2006)

La'Tonya Rease Miles, American Beauty: The Cheerleader in American Literature and Popular Culture (2005)

Sekani Robinson, Black Ballerinas: The Management of Emotional and Aesthetic Labor (2021)

  • Scottish World Cup fans are obsessed with Boston, the Fox Sports Zlatan-Lalas drama, Gisele’s Father’s Day post left out Tom Brady, Giannis goes to Miami, and athlete wedding updates
    2026/06/23

Madeline and Charlotte are back with a jam-packed episode! First up: For Father’s Day, Gisele Bündchen posted about Joaquim Valente, her new husband and father of her youngest child, but left out her ex-husband Tom Brady. Yikes! Eagles star DeVonta Smith married Mya Danielle and set a new standard for compressed flowers. Former college basketball player Haley Cavinder, on the other hand, married Jake Ferguson of the Cowboys, and it was just standard compression.

The Milwaukee Bucks traded Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Heat, even though the Celtics appear to have offered up Jaylen Brown — which is a little awkward for Jaylen! Also, the gals don’t think this will work for the Heat, sorry to Miami. The Fever’s Myisha Hines-Allen was ejected after a team-wide Fever scuffle against the Mercury, and Caitlin Clark got her fifth tech of the season — there’s a lot of history between Mercury star DeWanna Bonner and the Fever.

Serena Williams is competing in women’s singles at Wimbledon, and former Wimbledon champ & World No. 6 Marketa Vondrousova is suspended from professional tennis until 2030 after refusing to take an anti-doping test in December 2025.

Now, World Cup stuff! Scottish fans are obsessed with Boston and drank all the beer in the city. The Fox Sports drama between Alexi Lalas and Zlatan Ibrahimović is putting host Rebecca Lowe in a very bad position. Norway beat Senegal, thanks to two goals from Erling Haaland, and all the Norwegian fans all pretend to row in the stands! There seem to be some issues in Senegal’s camp — there’s political upheaval in the country, so buckle up for a current events lesson. Curaçao's (playing Ivory Coast Thursday) Eloy Room recorded 15 saves against Ecuador, and Argentina’s Lionel Messi became the highest goalscorer in men's World Cup history on Monday (with France’s Kylian Mbappé close on his heels!).

  • World Cup gossip: Cape Verde’s 40-year-old goalie, Iran’s complications, and Tunisia’s new hot coach + Knicks’s silly celebrations and Hurricanes’s winning nerd-jock combo
    2026/06/16

Madeline and Charlotte are back, reporting from a city still buzzing after the Knicks emerged victorious from the Finals. The boys are being silly on TV, KAT shouted out Jordyn Woods and her lucky bag, the gals decide that Mikal Bridges is the only player allowed to go live, and the parade is set for Thursday.

For all you hockey fans out there: The Carolina Hurricanes took the Stanley Cup with a winning combo of a nerd in the front office and a jock leading the charge on the ice. If you don’t know what that means, listen to the show!

Then, the gals dive into the World Cup, which is already sucking them in with the never-ending intrigue. Cape Verde is the story of the Group Stage so far, with its 40-year-old goalie, Vozinha, who saved the day in a draw against heavily favored Spain. Plus, one of Cape Verde’s players was invited to join the team via LinkedIn. The US beat Paraguay on Friday, and the gals will have a deep dive episode into the USMNT on Thursday. Tunisia fired their manager after the first game and hired a notoriously hot French coach, Herve Renard.

And finally: Some details and info about the Iranian national team’s very strange and complicated situation, and why their best player was left off the roster.
