  • 🎙️ Episode 48: Legacies, Letdowns & The Low End Theory
    2026/09/27

Episode 48 of The Skud Missile Podcast brings another wide-ranging conversation with Michael and Ezra. The guys open with a pair of baseball legacy debates, comparing Robinson Canó and José Altuve before asking who they’d rather have in center field: Andruw Jones or Bernie Williams.

From there, they break down a chaotic Week 4 in college football, including Ohio State’s convincing win, Oregon handing USC another setback, Florida stunning Ole Miss, and several other results that could reshape the national conversation.

Then it’s time for a much more important debate: the Mount Rushmore of appetizers. Wings, mozzarella sticks, nachos, potato skins and more all enter the conversation, but only four can make the final cut.

The episode closes with a look back at the 35th anniversary of A Tribe Called Quest’s classic album The Low End Theory, followed by a bigger hip-hop discussion: Who are the greatest rap groups of all time? And before wrapping up, Michael and Ezra answer three new Listener Mailbag questions.

  • 🎙️ Episode 47 : Football Is Back, Bronx Pressure & The Mount Rushmore Menu
    2026/09/18

Football is back, and Michael and Ezra break down the biggest early surprises, disappointments, and storylines from both the NFL and college football. They’ll check in on Ohio State, look at the teams and players making early noise, and make their predictions for some of the biggest games ahead.

Then it’s back to the Bronx as the Yankees enter the final stretch of the regular season. The guys discuss where the team stands, what’s working, their biggest concerns, and whether this roster is ready to make a serious run in October.

From there, it’s time for another Mount Rushmore, and this one could get heated. Michael and Ezra each choose their four greatest chain restaurants, with everything from fast food and fast casual to traditional sit-down spots eligible for the mountain.

Finally, the guys discuss the controversy involving Macklemore and Robert Kraft, including Macklemore’s claims involving Ed Sheeran’s tour, Kraft’s response, and the larger questions surrounding artists, venue owners, and public speech

  • 🎙️Episode 46: Locks, Legends & Contenders
    2026/09/05

Episode 46 of The Skud Missile Podcast is loaded with debates across music and sports.

We kick things off with a question inspired by Peter Rosenberg on X: which hip hop songs are absolute, unquestionable locks for the Top 100 of all time? From there, we debate Russell Westbrook versus John Stockton and whether Westbrook was actually the better point guard.

Then we head to Minnesota, where Kevin Garnett is finally getting the honor that has been long overdue as the Timberwolves prepare to retire No. 21. We discuss KG’s legacy, his place among the greatest power forwards ever, and whether Minnesota or Boston is the first team you associate with his career.

College football closes out our main topics as we break down the 2026 landscape, separate the legitimate national championship contenders from the pretenders, and make our picks for who can actually win it all.

And, as always, we finish with the Listener Mailbag, where the questions can take us absolutely anywhere.

Hip hop. NBA legends. College football. Unfiltered opinions. Plenty of arguments.
