  • 339: Why The Scriptures Still Matter
    2025/10/27

We live in a time when information is available everywhere. You can listen to sermons, podcasts, devotionals, and short clips that teach the Bible in so many different ways. And that's wonderful. But here's something I've learned, both in my own walk and through years of ministry: There is no substitute for God's Word.

  • 338: Responding To God's Salvation
    2025/10/20

If someone asked you, “What is salvation?” how would you answer? Many would say it’s about being forgiven of sins or going to heaven. But the Bible tells a much bigger story. Salvation is about God rescuing His people, and His creation, from the power of sin and death, and leading us into a whole new way of life.

  • 334: Foundations That Last
    2025/09/09

We’re starting a new series, Firm Foundations: Standing When the World Shakes.

When life feels unstable — political unrest, cultural division, financial uncertainty — where do we stand? What can we trust? What will last?

In this lesson, we open Matthew 7:24–27, where Jesus paints a picture: two builders, two foundations, one storm. One house stands. One house falls. The difference? The foundation. In this teaching, we’ll explore:

    • Why our foundation matters
    • The reality of life’s storms
    • What it means to build on the Rock
    • Practical steps for building a life that lasts

  • 333: Compassion
    2025/09/01

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to walk past someone in need? Sometimes we tell ourselves, “It’s not safe,” or “Someone else will help.”

Jesus told a story about this very thing, the Good Samaritan. Two religious leaders passed by a man beaten and left for dead. But a Samaritan, someone from a group despised by the Jews, stopped. He cared for the man and made sure he was safe.

The point? Compassion doesn’t ask, “Do I have to help?” Compassion asks, “How can I be a neighbor?”

In a world quick to look away, Jesus calls us to stop, see, and show mercy. That’s what it means to love your neighbor.

  • 332: God Is Worthy To Be Praised
    2025/08/26

What do you do when life feels heavy and praise seems impossible? In Acts 16:25, Paul and Silas sang hymns in prison at midnight, showing us that God’s worthiness isn’t tied to our circumstances. No matter the season, joy or sorrow, God is worthy to be praised!
