- Carol worked three years as a floor supervisor at Painted Rock Casino and was 28 years old.
- Security footage recorded her walking toward the employee parking lot stairwell at 11:17 p.m, on December 3.
- Carol’s tan Honda Civic was found in its assigned space the afternoon she was reported missing; the car was locked with no keys inside.
- One cream indoor flat, purchased September 2009 and of casino employee house brand, was missing from the passenger-side floor of the Civic.
- The shoe was placed on the trough after approximately 2:00 a.m. (no frost beneath it) and was discovered at 6:40 a.m., leaving a four-hour window with no footprints leading to or from the trough.
