An isolated hotel. A family snowed in. A dad slowly losing his fucking mind. 🪓
For Day 12 of 31 Days of Horror, I’m checking into Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining — where the Overlook Hotel makes every corridor feel like somewhere you really shouldn’t be.
From Jack Nicholson’s terrifying performance to Shelley Duvall’s desperate fight for survival, I’m talking about the creeping dread, Danny’s unsettling visions, those twins, and the images that stay with you long after the credits. This is horror that takes its time getting under your skin.
My rating: 9/10.
31 days. 31 horror movies. All work and no play… you know how that fucking ends.
