  • A Deconstructed Life
    2023/10/28

What does a deconstructed life look like? How do we start to challenge old narratives, perceptions, facades, etc. in order to reconstruct our value systems and show up more authentically in life? I truly enjoyed this conversation with my sweet friend, Darci Hanley, as she shared parts of her story and how she deconstructed her narrative around self-reliance. Her wisdom about shedding the parts of her past that no longer serve her and the importance of community as she walked through a difficult divorce due to addiction and navigating single parenthood, was insightful. The joy she has despite the obstacles thrown at her is contagious and will continue to be part of the legacy she is leaving in this life.

  • Healing Centered Relationships and Education
    2023/10/12

What if one person could shift your story? One person who sees you, hears you, and is genuinely interested in helping you overcome the obstacles life has thrown at you. In this episode, my incredibly humble friend, Staci Roth, is that person in so many lives. From being an educator at Learn4Life, to creating the HOPE Program providing education and resources for teenage parents, to becoming a Trauma
Resilient Professional and Coordinator of the TREC Resiliency Program, she has helped change the trajectory of at-risk youth. This episode shines a light on the difficulty of learning new information when we are having a trauma response, the importance of having healthy relationships, equipping individuals with resiliency tools, and how we all can learn from one another to leave this world a better place than how we found it.
