  • Stop Waiting For Permission To Put Yourself First
    2026/05/05

Sis, we need to talk about protecting your peace.

Because somewhere between trying to keep everyone happy, staying loyal to things that stopped serving you, and shrinking yourself so nobody feels uncomfortable — you lost yourself. And the scariest part? You already know it.

You know the situation you need to walk away from. You know the yes you've been sitting on. You know that the version of you that you keep putting on the back burner? She's the one who deserves to be front and center.

In this episode we get brutally honest about what it actually costs you when you keep waiting — waiting for the right time, waiting for someone's approval, waiting to stop being afraid — while your health, your confidence, and your purpose quietly pay the price.

This one is going to hit different if you have ever:

    • Stayed too long in something because you didn't want to hurt someone else
    • Known exactly what you needed to do and talked yourself out of it anyway
    • Said yes when everything inside you was screaming no
    • Put your own goals, health, and happiness last and called it loyalty

The truth is sis — nobody is coming to give you permission. Not your friends. Not your family. Not the people you've been bending over backwards to protect. The only person who can choose you — is you.

And the longer you wait, the louder that quiet knowing inside you has to scream to get your attention.

This episode will help you get so rooted in who you are and what you need that outside noise, other people's opinions, and the fear of letting someone down will no longer have the power to keep you stuck.

Your peace is worth protecting. Your yes matters. And you were never meant to live small.

Now stop waiting. You already have everything you need.

Subscribe, share with a woman who needs this, and stay rooted.

  • Stop Letting AI Be Your Voice... It's Boring!
    2026/04/28

Girl, we need to talk. Are you tired of scrolling through a feed full of content that feels like it was written by a robot — because it was? Are you consuming so much curated, filtered, AI-generated noise that you've started to forget what real actually sounds like? Yeah. Us too.In this episode, we're getting into something that we know a lot of you are feeling but maybe haven't said out loud yet. We are living in a moment in history where you have to decide — are you going to numb yourself with the endless digital scroll, or are you going to fight for your real, raw, unfiltered life?We talk about what it actually looks like to lose your voice to AI, to trends, to the pressure of being what everyone else expects you to be — and how that quiet erosion of yourself is one of the sneakiest ways women get in their own way. We've both been there. We also get into the beauty of real moments — the kind that aren't curated, the kind where the rain comes out of nowhere and why those are the moments that actually matter. Plus, Jamie drops a big audacious dream out loud for the first time on the podcast and we talk about what it looks like to show up as yourself so fully that you actually change your own legacy.Your voice is enough. It has always been enough. And this episode is your reminder. If you've been hiding behind a filter, a trend, or someone else's version of perfect — this one is for you, babe.Grab your coffee. Pull up a chair. Let's talk.Stay rooted. XoXo- Jamie & Mo

  • Bring the 1930 Twinkie Back
    2026/04/21

Hey, hey! Welcome back to the She's Rooted Podcast! Pull up a chair because this one hits different. We're talking about making the basics sexy — and no, we don't mean anything complicated. We mean the real stuff. The stuff that actually moves the needle on your health and your life.

Did you know the Twinkie in 1930 had five ingredients? Flour, eggs, sugar, butter, and vanilla. That's it. Today? the ingredient list is insane. And that right there is exactly why we need to have this conversation.

Jamie gets real about some personal life stuff happening right now that lit a fire under her, and honestly? It might light one under you too. We talk about why most of us don't have a discipline problem — we have a standards problem. We talk about steps, sleep, whole food, mindset, and why you cannot keep putting off the basics until life forces your hand.

Mo also brings her 87-year-old Twinkie-eating grandma into the conversation and honestly she might be the most quotable person on this whole podcast.

One of the best lines dropped on this episode: "We don't know the quantity of days we have. But we can absolutely determine the quality." If you needed a shake-up today, this is it. Let's get to the root of it.

  • Progress Over Perfection
    2026/04/14

Are you sabotaging your own progress by waiting until everything is perfect? We’ve been there — and in this episode, we’re getting real about why chasing perfection is keeping you stuck.

We’re diving into the mindset shift that changed everything for us: progress over perfection. We’re talking about how tiny habits — 10 pushups, a quick walk, a few pages of a book — are actually the building blocks of your biggest breakthroughs. We even share the story of a former Olympic athlete who started with just 10 pushups a day, and how that one small, consistent act opened doors she never imagined.

We break down how to ditch the all-or-nothing mentality, why celebrating small wins matters more than you think, and how to build a “perfectly imperfect” routine that actually sticks. Whether you’re in startup mode, rebuilding after a setback, or just overwhelmed by everything on your plate — this one’s for you.

Consistency compounds. Lasting change isn’t built in the perfect moments — it’s built in the small, manageable ones. And we’re here to remind you that the messy middle? It counts.

If you’re ready to stop waiting for perfect and start showing up for yourself — hit play. Your future self will thank you.

  • Walk It Out
    2026/04/01

Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest in your life.

In this episode, we’re getting real about the small things—the ones that are easy to overlook, easy to skip, and easy to think don’t matter… but actually shape everything.

We talk about why the basics aren’t always sexy but they work, how your daily habits quietly build your life, and what happened when Jamie took an honest look at her own movement—from 26,000+ steps on vacation to barely moving at home on certain days.

This is a conversation about mindset, consistency, and learning to stop overcomplicating your health. Because the truth is, it’s not the big things—it’s the small things done consistently that change everything. We also share why we started the Rooted Virtual Walking Club—a simple, flexible way to get moving, stay accountable, and actually follow through.

Pull up a chair. Let's get to the root of it.

  • Q&A: Cupcakes, Cravings & Protein Check
    2026/03/25

We had some questions come in… and one of them was about the cupcake. You know the one. It looks so good. You want it. But you also know how you’re going to feel after.

So we talked about it. Because sometimes this isn’t really about the cupcake. It’s about:

    – feeling out of control around food

    – eating on autopilot

    – trying to find that balance between enjoying life and still showing up for your goals

    – and having some healhy-ish options to swap it with... or heck, just eat the damn cupcake and don't apologize for it sis haha

In this Q&A we got into:

    • how 80/20 actually works in real life

    • why you might only need a couple bites (if you slow down)

    • what to do if moderation feels hard

    • how your fueling plays into cravings

    • and the difference between low energy and under-eating

    Nothing extreme.Nothing all-or-nothing.

Just real conversation around what this actually looks like day to day. So pull up a chair... let's get to the root of it

  • Give Yourself Permission To Pivot
    2026/03/17

    “PIVOT!” — Ross from Friends

Okay but really… have you ever felt pulled toward something and then immediately talked yourself out of it?

What if I get it wrong?

    What if I look silly?

    What if it doesn’t work?

    What if I hate it?

Girl… have you ever stopped and asked yourself, but what if you don’t?

What if you don’t get it wrong?

What if you don’t look silly?

    What if it does work?

What if you actually love it?

I think a lot of us keep sitting on the edge of something because we think we’re supposed to know everything before we begin. Sis… stop thinking you need to have it all figured out on day one of showing up. You don’t. If you have something tugging at your heart and you cannot let it go… maybe don’t let go of it.

Maybe it’s tugging you for a reason.

Maybe it’s time to go try the thing.

Maybe—just maybe—it’s time to write a new chapter.

And if it’s not exactly what you thought?

    You can pivot.

    You can pivot again.

    You can pivot better.

Don’t be afraid to laugh at yourself.

Don’t be afraid to learn your way through it.

We are never going to know what’s for us if we never lean in. Sometimes the next right step is not having all the answers. Sometimes it’s just being rooted enough to start. Let’s chat about it.
