So I did a thing yesterday — I found an old video of myself from May, stood in almost the exact same pose I was in for a video I filmed this past weekend, and put them side by side. Two months apart. And when I tell you I was blown away... it wasn't even the physical change that got me. It was my face. I was carrying so much weight that had nothing to do with a scale.
I wrote something in the caption that really hit Mo: it's amazing what can happen in your life in just two months when you take the frustrations off your table and just reset your damn yes.
That post sparked a whole conversation, and we ended up recording it because we think a lot of you need to hear it. We're talking about what it actually looks like to let go of something that used to work for you but doesn't anymore — a routine, a role, an idea of who you're supposed to be — and why that guilt you feel about pivoting isn't the truth, it's just noise.
We get into accountability, why you have to give something a real shot before you write it off (the ugly dress on the rack is definitely cuter on), and why putting yourself last isn't selfless — it's selfish.
If you've been standing with your back against a wall you don't actually need to be stuck at, this is your sign to step away from it.
Pull up a chair, grab your coffee, and let's get rooted.
