Nitemoves (Rory O'Connor) is the electronic project based in New York, first starting to release music in 2012 with 4 full-length albums (including the iconic Themes) and standout remixes. As the longtime drummer for Grammy-nominated band Tycho, he tours worldwide, crafting incredible live sounds alongside Scott Hansen. His music has earned praise in major outlets, and he's shared stages globally from Com Truise tours to Tycho in modern times. David created Dirty Projectors in the early 2000s in Brooklyn, NY. The project has released 10 studio albums, several EPs including the 5EPs series, and 1 live album. They most recently released their latest album Song of the Earth on April 6th, 2025 and David's first film score for The Legend Of Ochi on April 25th, 2025. The band has been featured in countless press, has performed major music festivals, and has toured across the world. David is truly an incredible person and I'm very grateful to have interviewed him.
