American team golf needs more than a new captain or a different set of player picks. It needs a system built for long-term success.

In this episode of The Second Cut, I'm presenting a blueprint for fixing American team golf, with solutions for both the Presidents Cup and the Ryder Cup.

Rather than focusing on individual captain's picks or reacting to the latest results, this is a high-level look at how American team golf should be managed, structured, and developed to create lasting improvement.

The goal is simple: establish a consistent foundation that carries from one captain to the next and from one competition to the next. By creating continuity, clear responsibilities, and a sustainable approach to team management, American golf can build on previous experiences instead of starting over every time leadership changes.

We'll look at the bigger picture, identify opportunities to improve the current approach, and outline a framework designed to make American team golf more consistent, competitive, and accountable over the long term.

Can American golf build a system that consistently puts its teams in the best position to win? Let's discuss.
